The son of a real estate investor and the grandson of a real estate attorney, Aaron Weisman grew up immersed in real estate and has spent his entire career as a real estate investment professional.

In November 2005, Aaron accepted a full time position at Marcus & Millichap as a Senior Investment Analyst for one of the top producing brokerage teams in Los Angeles. There, Aaron managed a team of analysts to underwrite hundreds of millions of dollars of various product types and personally presented the results to owners and investors.

Leveraging his experiences and relationships, Aaron began acquiring properties and equity holdings in publicly traded real estate securities for himself and investors. He has held multiple securities licenses and acquired significant positions in publicly traded real estate investment trusts (REITs) when the discrepancy between Wall Street and Main Street was at its peak. By the end of 2012, publicly traded REITs were trading at a premium to NAV and Aaron began to shift his focus back to main street real estate investing.

In March 2014, Aaron founded Gomel Capital Partners in Dallas, Texas to acquire multifamily properties in markets with strong fundamentals and above average yields. His portfolio now includes over $100 million worth of mostly multifamily property spanning Dallas-Fort Worth, San Antonio, Los Angeles, and St. Louis, MO.
